| | Pull Harder on The Strings of Your Martyr - Trivium | ] | Well I can't say it hasn't been awhile, because it sure has been ages since an update has graced this board that had any humor or substance. Maybe one day it will again, a day where I am not so lazy.
Seriously all I have to say is I have lost faith in the whole kharamic zen balance crap, and also a bit of faith of how the world works. I'm sure this happens in everyone's life at some point or another, just another milestone. At one point you realize that the world isn't made of candy, at another you realize it isn't all that sunsine and farts, and then lastly you realize that bad things happen to good people.
Sure it sounds so obvious now, but really if you try to be a good person you are just going to get walked all over, or abused, or crushed, or maybe you will be one of the lucky ones and stuff will work out magically, but it probablly wont.
Sure I sound emo right now, maybe I will recant this in the morning, if I do I probablly will say its not to this extreme, but what I have learned is that even if it your turn in line you wont get yours. Even if you do not deserve it you are going to get it (good or bad). You just have to find a way to live and cope.

| | Velvet Revolver - Slither | ] | So I arrive home on weds, hang out a few of my friends. Soon as I get there they inform me that on saturday they are going to see Velvet Revolver at Jone's Beach AND that they have an extra ticket.
So how could I pass this oppertunity up? Of course I could not. Could you? No didn't think so.
So yesterday we meet up at SUNY SB to watch Dave's rugby game (that sport is crazy). Afterwards Joe, Gary, Dave, Lil' John, and myself made the journey to Jone's Beach. Once we arrived we BBQ'd up some burgers in the trunk of Dave's car (probablly the unsafest thing ever but the results were delecious).
Dave, John, and Joe had pretty good seats, but Gary and I we had the choice seats. We were 7 rows away from the stage. Simply Amazing.
Hoobastank was the opener. Which, although I'm not in love with Hoobastank I don't think they are so bad, and think they put on a good show. A lot better live than you would think. They did a good job getting the crowd pumped for VR.
Being that close to the stage when VR played was nuts. Like there was Slash and Scott right there, like there, like woah man.
Halfway threw the set I switched places with Joe since he really wanted a chance to be up there, so I was a nice guy at gave him a turn. I mean Gary refused to accept any money so I was seeing this show for free. I was happy though that before I switched with Joe they played Crackerman (one of my favorite STP songs).
I am still in awe reflecting about the kick-assatude of the show.
After the show we went to the Rugby house for a bit of party-party. The party itself was packed, I don't think I have seen more people in a lil house in such a long time. Like it was like the entire town of alfred in one house. We were only there a halfhour though before the cops showed up and broke up the party. Meh lil too crowded for my tastes anyway.
Though we did hit up a smaller gathering at Dave's friend Mikey's apartment on campus. It was 3 am, so Dave and I had to play catch up. Man I think I did about 10 shots. I didn't end up sleeping till about 730am, then i took sort of a nap, sobered up, brunch, and here I am, somehow functioning at 130 pm.
If this keeps up its gonna be one sweet summer. |

| | Offspring - Want You Bad | ] | This is the last week of classes, and you know what that means right? The Alfred student body will blissfully finish up their classes, their professors right on time with the syllabus. All that's left to do is a few days of review then prepare for the final. Each night the Alfredians can rest easy knowing its almost over, and they can dream of a summer sitting by the beach with a cool beverage while a stereo fills the air with a somber melody.
Hahaha...WRONG!
In reality the last week of classes means a chaotic mad dash towards finals week; which in itself can be the single most stressful time of the year with the possibility to make a break an otherwise promising semester. Most of the time your 3 weeks behind the syllabus so this these final classes will be a fast-forward fly by, oh and those last 3 papers in that one class you thought your professor wasn't going to be assigned, well here they are. Due on Thursday. Have fun.
I am lucky to have stayed more on task than I have in the past. Meaning I should only need 1 all nighter to pass my classes, instead of 3 or 4. Even though I wont have that many all nighters everyone I will be up till 3 AM a lot more this week than usual. 3 AM doesn't sound too bad, but when you have to be up at 8 the next day, it takes a toll on you.
With all this extra work and stress, you think myself and the rest of the alfredian population would make sure to manage their time wisely and use days such as Saturday and Sunday to get as much work done as possible.
WRONG!
I'll be down on mainstreet with the rest of campus Saturday night, with a cool beverage, while screams of students fill the night with a somber melody. |

| | CKY - Flesh Into Gear | ] | So last night we were playing a few games of kings, because the weather was too shitty to go out, and I had to drink probablly one of the worst concoctions that the Almighty King's God's have ever destined someone to drink.
For those of you unfamilliar to the rules of Kings (sometime's called King's Cup) I shall give you a brief lesson. A deck of cards is spread out into a circle around a Cup at its center. People draw one card at a time, with each card having its own little rule (2 = drink 2, 3 is give 3 away, 4 girls drink, ... ect). The rule are usual changed slighty from game to game, but the one rule that makes this game oh so special is when someone draws a king, he fills 1/4th of the cup with whatever they are drinking. The last one tops off the cup and chugs.
The first king drawn in last night's game started the cup off with some Mike's Triple Black. Not bad so far. Second King gets drawn a little while later, and Budweiser Sparks (a weird little energy drink beer) brings the cup to the 1/2 mark. Things aren't looking as good anymore.
Everyone is worried I will get the 3rd king, because then the crap I am drinking will be added to the cup of destiny. I am drinking some Yoohoo! with some chocolate and coffee flaved liquors mixed in. Probablly wouldn't mix to well.
3rd king goes by, to someone with a smirnoff ice. Now I don't want that king, because then I will have to top it off with my beverage and chug this distrubing formula that nightmares are made off.
My turn. Fuck.
I pour into the cup and my stuff immediatly sinks to the bottom, undergoes some weird transformation, then a brown cloud floats up to the top half of the cup, like some kind of deamon rootbeer float.
"Past teeth, and the gums, look out stomache here it comes!" I exclaim and consume my fate.
I'm not dead, but I'm still waiting for my super powers to kick in, or cancer. |

| | Turbonegro - Don't say Motherfucker, Motherfucker | ] | What have I been up to lately?
Let's see I've had to put academics first, and really first this semmseter. Since I need to be off academic probation by the end of the semester to move off campus. I mean it's been working out, my grades so far should be like A,A,B, C or a D (in spanish so all I need is a D for credit).
Right behind all my academic stuff was doing lots of pirate stuff. On top of all the normal show stuff I had to get stuff ready for next year. I got holmes reserved for all the shows next year, lining up an Orintation day show, Pirate Theater budget, as well as those forms I gotta fill out to say that we are still an organization next year.
At least the last show is over, which went over fantastically, giving me time to actually do the projects I have been ignoring. Man I never want to do a Hot Dog Day show agian, last friday's rehersal trying to get everyone there is a killer. Not because they are all drinking or anything, because everyone has other stuff they have to do with other organizations (like pine hill derby and the honors conocation, or whatever that was).
All this stuff doesn't leave me too much time for anything else though. I mean I wont lie, I still induldge in my video game addictions a bit, but not as much as people would have you belive or think. It's mainly before bed, or once I have got all my work done for the night that I will grab a quick hours worth of play time on Warcraft 2 or 3 nights a week, if that.
What I am really missing is my social life that I used to have. I feel like that has suffered a lot this semester, but not much I can do about it.
Hot Dog Day was fun, I got to drink a lot. This year I decided to start drinking around noon, continuing drinking lightly during the day, then once the night hit to hit the hard stuff. Mission accomplished.
Summer is coming up soon, I guess I should be looking forward to it more than I am. All I am really going to do is be working a job, taking a class, and hanging out with my peeps when I can. I guess what is so off putting about going home this time is I really dont feel like moving back in at home agian. We have our house lined up to move into in Auguest and I am really excited about that. I'm just feeling the chains and shackles that come with moving in back home a little early. I am going to miss going to my mini fridge whenever and grab a drink if I feel so inclined. Guess I'll be the designated driver till Augest. |

| | Muse - Hysteria | ] | When you come back to school after break, you know your going back to shitty dining hall food, but what you don't expect is for the food to be literally so bad that people all over campus start keeling over.
Welcome back to Alfred University.
It all started last night, our friend came by feeling very ill. She was desperatly looking for tums, when she just feel over because of stomache pains and related symptoms. So naturally rescue squad is called. She thinks her roomate gave it to her this mysterious illness since she had many of the same symptoms earlier. Rescue squad comes, fixes her up good.
Flash forward.
This morning Justin wakes up feeling kinda oogy, thows up a lil bit, but nothing too serious.
During lunch he feels a bit worse, so he doesn't eat all that much. First round of real puking hits around mid afternoon. Was harsh but afterwards he feels a lot better. This relief is only temporary because once dinner time rolls around, he just rolls into bed. By the time we get back from dinner he is in and out of the bathroom, and asks me to drive him up to the hospital since he can't hold water down.
After 4 or so hours in the hospital, (I read the first 9 chapters of Fight Club while waiting during the first 2 hours, then hung out with him the rest since he was feeling better). The doc says Justin is going through a bout with food posioning, most likely salmonilla.
Shortly after Justin and I arrive back home, Jay comes in after finishing up his shift at security with exlamations about how many more calls they got today bout people being sick with the same thing from the night before (and the same as what Justin had).
So if you're on campus and go frequent the Aid Dining hall be a lil extra wary of the food. |

| | none, mommies computer doesn't got the MP3 flow | ] | Well it's been a real long time since I've updated this thing, but to be fair I have been busy. Carlos was buggin me a lot that I needed to update, then Corey commented and said I need to too, and since I'm on spring break I really don't have an excuse not to update.
This semmester has been jam packed with me doing stuff, and from the looks of it will only get worse. I haven't fallen behind yet, so it hanst been to bad it just means I have less time for stuff like live journal, video games, and a fully functional social life, ect.
First thing that's been occuping my time has been my academic stuff. Normally I'm all for letting the grades slide down to a B-, but it's a luxury I can no longer afford. After my all time low GPA last semmseter I need to get off academic probation and start making my transcript look nice to find a half way decent grad school eventually. Mid semmseter grades came out recently, and I'm not doing to bad. A's in both my pysche classes, a B in my bio, and a C- in spanish. Spanish only looks so bad because I bombed the first test, did alright on the next 2 but the one we had before break isn't being factored in. I will be more than pleased if I finish out the class with a C so I don't really forsee too many problems.
Next on the "Why is Fred so busy" list is Pirate Theater. Pirate Theater takes up a large portion in my brian and a lot of time an energy goes into it during the show weeks, but before those weeks a lot of the time is spent thinking about Video's and Scripts that need to be written and finished. I need to get a few scripts written over break because soon as we get back rehersals start, and then theres only a 3 weeks break before the next show, where I know I will not have much time to work on scripts because of upcoming projects and other stuff related to Hot Dog Day.
Another thing that we are all working on to get settled is the lease for our offcampus housing next year. I for one can't wait to be finished so I can just stop thinking about it. The house we got our eyes on is very, very nice and I'm very excited to get offcampus and have a big ol' house *cough*parties*cough* but as of now, its extra anxiety that I dont need until after the lease has been set and signed.
I've also been going to the gym a bunch, not so much as of late because of stuff that needed to be taken care of before break, and a cold I got prevented me from going, but other than that I've been going almost everyday.
Ummmm I guess that only leaves my social life, which there isn't all that much too it as of late. I mean hang out with my close friends that I live with a lot, but other than that I don't see much of other people. I should try to get out a bit more, but I will see if that's possible to do with all the other crap I gotta take care of first.
Thus concludes the general update of where the Hell I have been, I'll make a post later in the week of how my spring break is going. |

Okay, maybe you're not THAT gross. But yes. You are a toenail. You usually get in the way of peoples' lives and are annoying at times, but people hang out with you because you are amusing. You enjoy acting retarded in front of large crowds of people. Many may call you a dork and a loser, but the truth is that you are very intelligent, and this will be proven in the near future. You are dependent on your friends, but you are not willing to conform into society's stereotypical mold. You may be called a loser, but at least you aren't a nobody. Even the opposite sex finds your uniqueness attractive. You stand out, and that's what makes you special. Even if people leave you hanging.

| | The truth - Nonpoint | ] | Well here I am back in Alfred.
So to commerate this glorious event I will talk about break some more. I passed that spanish class that I was taking over break, so thats good. Blah blah blah, now onto drunken Justin.
The previous weekend Justin and I road tripped to Deleware to visit Unfortunate Mike. We had a grand ol time. Justin got drunker than I have ever seen him, and I have seen him very drunk. He got frusterated that he was not remebering peoples names so he found a marker and had people start writing it on his shirtless body. Needless to say he got covered. He eventually lost the marker and had people carve into him with a ball point pen. The marker was later found in his pocket the next morning.
Before starting the really hung over drive back (man i had a lot of 151) we luckly found eden, aka Denny's. Normally Denny's would not be considered Eden, but it was exactly what we needed before the drive back to the island.
I don't feel like writing more right now, so the end! |

| | K-Rock | ] | ... cuz Justin is here, and I don't want to bore him.
But I wanted to update about my time at New Year's before I travel down to Deleware and have another crazy weekend.
So Mike calls me up (some may know him better as Unfortunate Mike) late afternoon on New Year's eve. Apperntly the party we were planning to go around here was cancelled. They were having beer pong and crazy parties all week it seems, and the night before the cops got called on them so no New Year's party.
So Mike and I go over our options, all of em involve booze in different locations, one such possible location mentioned is NYC.
He says he's going to talk to Dan, and give me a call back. As I wait for him to call back, I ask Carlos via AIM what he plans on doing tonight. He tells me that his friend is throwing a party at his apartment. I mention that I might end up in the city. He gives me his cell number to call him if I do indeed end up there.
Later I call Carlos to tell him were about to get on the train to head into the city. "Rock On" he says.
After the most annoying train ride ever thanks to random Mr I Think I'm Hillarious when I'm Drunk "entertaining" us for an hour and a half we arrive in the city.
I call Carlos agian to find out we're also going to meet up with the big man himself... not God... a more hispanic big man... no still not God... but Hector.
What it is.
So we wander the city, get to the party, and theres a keg in the tub, a ton of liquor, a fat man giving out shots from his drink shaker, and later a hat filled with a random delecious concoction.
Mike quickly puts his skills to work, and starts mac'in it with the ladies.
Dan films some of the madness.
I drink, yummy.
So the ball drops, Mike's making out with this girl. Shortly after this girl is making out with Carlos, shortly after this girl is making out with another guy, shortly after this girl is making out with another girl. So I would'a got a New Year's Kiss.. but the line was too long but one of the images I saw shortly after the ball dropped was too girls making out, so that's gotta be a good sign, right?
After we left with the party we met up with Big C for some pizza. My memory gets a bit fuzzy around this point. I do remeber stealing a slice of pizza from Mike when he was waiting in line for the bathroom.
I slept a bit on the train ride back.
At 5:30 am I arrive home, and sleep a blissful sleep.
So this week has been filled with a spanish class... I can talk about that later... but this weekend should provide another amazing adventure as Justin and I venture down to Deleware for hopefully another huge crazy party.
Hopefully this time the line for smooches won't be too long. |

So we had a typical long island night; driving around aimlessly for a bit. We eventually stopped at starbucks, not really for any purpose or even a desire for starbucks. We just wanted a place to chill for a lil bit and figured coffee was cheaper than the gas were we using while driving around. (Though since it was starbucks it was almost cheaper to keep driving around).
Once we got back to my house Justin said he was in the mood for an intellictual movie, or at least something that would make him think. That ofcorse went out the window when I suggested we watch Haggard.
For those of you who don't know Haggard is an independ movie of sorts, by Bam Magera (of CKY and Viva la Bam fame). Hillarious, yet very stupid.
We then did the usual slumber party stuff, we had pillow fights, painted our nails, ate ice cream, and talked about boys while reading cosmo.
He awoke to my mom screaming at my brother, I slept through this. After my mom screaming at my brother every morning to get up for school every time I'm home on break, I have become accustomed to it and can almost sleep through it entirely.
Later I had to get Justin to the train station, which we would of been on time for the first time if the woman at Friendly's wasn't so damn slow. No big deal we just went to the hardware store for 20 min or so and bugged Frankie as he fixed someone's little red wagon.
We got back to the train station and waited around a bit as we discussed what that smell could be. Once the train arrived I bid Justin farewell and a merry chirstmas. |

(Now this post will get a bit gheyer)
But what I really can't figure out is what the hell to do with my hair. I have not cut it since early July. I don't know wether to get it cut short, or let it grow. If I cut it I dont know how short, what style, or even where to go and get it cut. |
